About the job

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Hardware Engineer who enjoys working with electronics at the bench.

This is a practical role where you will work closely with our electronic devices — building prototypes, soldering and reworking PCBs, debugging faulty units, testing components and circuits, and helping us bring new hardware ideas to life.

You don't need to be an expert PCB designer on day one. What matters most is that you have strong electronics fundamentals, good hands-on skills, curiosity, and the ability to troubleshoot problems systematically.

As you grow in the role, you will get the opportunity to move from hands-on prototyping and debugging into schematic design, component selection and PCB design.

What you will do

  • Solder and rework electronic components and PCBs using soldering irons, hot-air/rework stations, hot plates and reflow ovens
  • Assemble and modify prototypes
  • Debug electronic devices that are not functioning correctly
  • Diagnose problems using a multimeter, power supply and other lab equipment
  • Trace power and signal paths on PCBs
  • Identify faulty components and replace them
  • Work with components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, ICs, fuses, connectors, speakers and other electronic components
  • Work on power sections, protection circuits and basic analog/digital circuits
  • Modify existing circuits and PCBs to test new ideas
  • Build quick prototypes and proof-of-concept circuits
  • Assist in testing and validating new hardware
  • Document debugging findings, modifications and test results
  • Work closely with the team to improve existing hardware and develop new products What we are looking for Must have
  • Basic understanding of electronics fundamentals — voltage, current, resistance, power, polarity, continuity, etc.
  • Good practical soldering and desoldering skills
  • Comfortable working with SMD and through-hole components
  • Ability to use a multimeter confidently
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and their functions
  • Ability to read and understand a basic schematic/circuit
  • Logical and systematic approach to troubleshooting
  • Willingness to work hands-on with hardware every day
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn Good to have
  • Experience debugging power supply or power-management circuits
  • Knowledge of DC-DC converters, LDOs, MOSFETs and protection circuits
  • Experience working with speakers/audio electronics
  • Experience with embedded boards such as ESP32, Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes and bench power supplies
  • Experience with PCB assembly and rework
  • Basic knowledge of KiCad, Altium, Eagle or similar PCB design software
  • Experience designing or modifying PCBs
  • Experience taking an electronic prototype from an idea to a working device

A candidate with a diploma, B.Tech, ITI/electronics background, or strong self-taught electronics experience can be a good fit if they have the right hands-on skills and mindset.
