AI Engineer

Consumer robotics company building a physical product from prototype toward production. We're looking for an AI engineer to own perception and learning-based control as we push a hardware platform from manual, operator-assisted operation toward closed-loop autonomy. Ideally you've taken a model from research or simulation into something running reliably on real hardware; you don't need a lab or a large team to validate your work.

What you'd own:

• Sim-to-real transfer for a physical control system
• Learning-from-demonstration pipelines for task-specific behavior
• Reinforcement-learning-based self-optimization for closed-loop correction
• Vision/perception pipeline robustness (lighting variability, sensor reliability, real-world noise)
