Job Summary (Full Stack Developer - AI Enabled Applications)

• Role: Hands-on Full Stack Developer for AI-enabled applications (focus on Python, Generative AI, and cloud platforms).
• Location: Onsite, Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week).
• Employment: Long-term contract. Must have 3 years' U.S. residency. Public Trust clearance required.
• Interview: 1 video, 1 onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Proofs of Concept (PoCs) using Azure AI and AWS Bedrock for Generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine use cases and requirements for AI applications.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure web applications, integrating Generative AI models and APIs.
• Develop both backend (Python, APIs) and frontend (React or Angular) components for robust user experience.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy application features based on feedback.
• Integrate cloud services, manage deployment pipelines, and handle containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Document technical designs and development processes for knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, UI/UX, project managers).
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on Generative AI and full stack development trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years full stack development experience (front-end & back-end).
• 3+ years Python development (clean, efficient code).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS).
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and integrating AI/ML models/APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, OpenShift), and version control (Bitbucket).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; clear communication, especially to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD, and obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Education: Master's + 5 years, or Bachelor's + 7 years, or 13+ years experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred/Desired Skills

• Experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Azure Vision, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, Databricks, Synapse Analytics).
• Deep understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts.
• Experience with ethical AI development and compliance/security best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins (CI/CD), and automating deployment/testing.
• Hands-on experience deploying Generative AI models to production (Azure).
• Ability to preprocess and manipulate data for RAG ingestion.
• Additional programming skills in C# and Java.
• Experience with data science tools and frameworks (Jupyter, pandas, PyTorch).
• Awareness of current trends and issues in Generative AI and Python.
