Location: Malvern, PA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, four days per week onsite

About the Role
Entech is seeking a client-facing software engineering leader to modernize existing applications and deliver high-quality, AI-enabled software. This role requires current software engineering experience combined with technical delivery, project management, team leadership, and client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise software applications
- Provide technical direction across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and code quality
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, releases, dependencies, and delivery outcomes
- Lead onshore, offshore, or blended software engineering teams
- Serve as a primary client contact, translating business needs into executable technical plans
- Partner with architects, developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI, automation, and AI-assisted development capabilities
- Improve SDLC processes, engineering standards, Agile practices, and software quality
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or technology consulting
- Recent experience leading the development and modernization of production software
- Prior hands-on experience in software engineering, application development, or technical architecture
- Experience delivering AI-enabled applications, generative AI solutions, or intelligent automation
- Experience leading distributed software engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, testing, and Agile delivery
- Excellent client-facing, project management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Consulting or professional services experience strongly preferred
- Financial services or lending experience preferred
Project management experience without a current software engineering or technical architecture background will not be sufficient for this role.
