About the Role:

Moleaer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to lead the development of next-generation nanobubble products and support the design and execution of complex customer systems.

This role combines mechanical engineering, systems engineering, and product development responsibilities. The successful candidate will define system architectures, develop product requirements, create and evaluate design concepts, and lead mechanical design activities from concept through production release.

Essential Functions:

Product Development & Systems Engineering

• Develop system-level solutions integrating mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and controls subsystems resulting in General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) and Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID)
• Lead development of new products from concept through production release.
• Define system architectures and product configurations.
• Translate customer, business, and operational needs into product requirements.
• Participate in requirements development, trade studies, and design reviews.
• Support product roadmaps and technology development initiatives.
• Support supplier sections and technical evaluations when required.

Mechanical Design

• Design mechanical assemblies, supporting structures, piping systems and ancillary subsystems.
• Create 3D models and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to validate designs.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product qualification activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.

Project Execution

• Lead engineering activities for assigned product development and customer projects.
• Develop engineering schedules and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Support project planning, risk management, and technical decision-making.
• Present technical status and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Verification & Validation

• Develop test plans and acceptance criteria for quality control plans for QC acceptance testing
• Support laboratory qualification, factory and field commissioning testing.
• Analyze test results and implement design improvements.

· Lead and support root cause investigations and corrective actions, including remote and on-site troubleshooting with field service technicians, manufacturing personnel, suppliers, and customers globally.

Qualifications

· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

· 7+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or mechanical design.

· Strong understanding of mechanical system architecture and system integration.

· Experience developing products from concept through production.

· Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D CAD software.

· Experience with engineering documentation, design reviews, and configuration management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

· Proven management experience.

· M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

· Experience with water treatment, pneumatic equipment (air compressors, air separators, dryers, etc), piping, or fluid handling systems.

· Experience with systems engineering methodologies and requirements management.

· Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, and SolidWorks Manage and PDM systems.

· Experience with verification and validation testing in laboratory and field environments.

· Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment.

· Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems.
