Role Description The Field Customer Support Technician is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support for ATEQ leak and flow testing instruments. This role includes installing, configuring, and commissioning equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving technical issues at customer facilities. The technician will respond to support requests, guide customers through troubleshooting steps, and ensure clear communication of solutions and best practices. Day-to-day activities involve documenting service activities, maintaining accurate records in service systems, and collaborating with engineering and sales teams to address complex customer needs. The technician will also train customer personnel on proper operation, basic maintenance, and safety procedures to help ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Customer-facing skills to support strong Customer Satisfaction and effective Customer Support.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent equipment and systems issues.
  • Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience with industrial or electronic equipment, instrumentation, or automation systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage schedules, and prioritize multiple service requests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, industrial technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
