About the job
Alfie is looking for a motivated and energetic Operations Coordinator.
The ideal candidate has good English and Italian proficiency and it's preferable the knowledge of other languages.
The professional hired will assist our customers, mostly business travelers, while traveling. The main tasks are:
- Coordinate the fleet of Personal Assistant in the territory,
- Assign the tasks or jobs to partners or PAs,
- Coordinate relations and assignments with B2B partners (travel agencies, car hire companies, taxis, restaurants, etc),
- Bookings all the activities requested by the customer: Car rental/airlines bookings or other services, Assistance during the travel, Booking business lunches/dinners, etc,
- Coordinate, plan and execute the Events assigned,
- Other back office activities such as documentation/reports and systems updates.
- Additional tasks might be assigned.
The ideal candidate is customer oriented, proactive, problem solvers, creative (think out-of-the-box), organized and anticipate customers' needs or issues.
Knowledge of the basic IT package is a must: MAC/Windows systems, MS Office. It's preferable a knowledge of travel agency's GDS or its understanding and a previous experience in the following roles: travel industry jobs, bookers, event planner, account manager, sales support, customer care. however, it's not mandatory.
We offer a full time job, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary package, but we seek flexibility to reach the Operations Manager during the out of business hours in case of emergency.
