AEM Architect

About the Job

TechSpace is looking for an experienced AEM Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale digital experience solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across AEM projects, define scalable and secure solution architectures, establish development standards, and work closely with clients, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Adobe solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end architecture for Adobe Experience Manager solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service and AEM 6.5.
• Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and solution discussions.
• Develop technical architecture roadmaps aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
• Establish AEM development standards, architecture patterns, coding practices, and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to AEM development teams.
• Architect integrations between AEM and Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Salesforce, ServiceNow, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
• Design API architectures, enterprise integrations, and scalable backend services.
• Work closely with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical and architectural issues.
• Review technical designs, code, and project deliverables to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Collaborate with clients, product owners, UX teams, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in software development and technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including architecture and solution design.
• Strong expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Headless CMS capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak Repository, and Apache Dispatcher.
• Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience designing enterprise-level integrations and API architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent technical communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) or Adobe Certified Professional certification.
• Experience with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud / Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem.
• Experience integrating AEM with enterprise commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of headless architecture and modern digital experience platforms.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Previous experience in an Adobe consulting or client-facing environment.
