The ideal candidate can understand engineering documentation and translate it into accurate, practical manufacturing solutions while developing a strong understanding of how Harlan equipment operates as a complete system.
Essential Functions

- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, dimensions, tolerances, and engineering specifications.
- Support engineering revisions, engineering changes, product improvements, testing, and validation.
- Work directly with Manufacturing to ensure BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation accurately reflect the equipment being built.
- Develop a strong understanding of Harlan equipment and the interaction between mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, control, and electric systems.
- Troubleshoot production and product issues, identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and verify results.
- Support prototype builds, production units, component changes, and new or modified product configurations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Service to resolve technical and production issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, safety, performance, and cost.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and communicate technical changes clearly to production and other departments.

- Experience working with BOMs, engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, and engineering changes.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and technical specifications.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
