Project Manager

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides Program and/or Project Management Leadership for multiple concurrent projects
• Technical and Functional understanding of the projects assigned and being managed
• Managing cross-functional roadmap with alignment to business strategy and needs
• Manages full life-cycle of a project
• Ensures that the proper resources are assigned to defined tasks
• Includes coordination with internal teams and 3rd party vendors
• Adherence and enforcement of company SOX, SDLC and IT policies and procedures
• Manage and report Project budgets and ongoing run-rates – escalating any financial concerns throughout
• Provides regular project communication and status reporting
• Maintains project status, project plans, project issues documents, decision logs, budget run-rates, and any other additional project documentation
• Understanding the audience and tailoring communications based on that audience (Executives, Business, IT, Vendors)
• Leads communications with Business, IT and 3rd parties to keep the project status, issues, plans and escalations in a concise and direct manner so that all stakeholders are informed
• Resolves all project issues including scope, timeline, resourcing changes, business functionality and technology issues
• Coordinate with all team members to ensure priorities and activities being scheduled are aligned to expected deliverables
• Oversee the support and administration of Project Management Methodologies – making best practice recommendations to improve and streamline as appropriate and within company/department policies
• Work within the IT team to standardize, mentor and guide the staff in properly using the Project Management Methodology processes and documents
• Involved in the design and documentation of project solutioning to ensure that proper feedback is provided as part of the overall delivery
• Experienced in managing enterprise and global projects across SaaS, infrastructure, network, store systems, IT security, cloud migration and digital commerce, including PIM, DAM, ecommerce and omnichannel capabilities
• Experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), MuleSoft, OMS, PIM, DAM, payment platforms, customer identity and related omnichannel commerce ecosystems; Shopify experience is a plus
• Ability to manage highly integrated retail environments involving ERP, ecommerce, POS, OMS, WMS, APIs, middleware and third-party SaaS platforms
• Experience managing strategic technology vendors, contract transitions, statements of work and multi-vendor delivery teams
• Incorporate organizational change management, business readiness, knowledge transfer, cutover planning, adoption and hypercare into large-scale enterprise delivery
• Experienced in managing functional systems projects (across multiple geographies) - Apparel, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics
• Experience leading pre- and post-acquisition technology integrations, including TSA transitions and exits, Day 1 readiness, operational separation, vendor and contract transitions, data conversion, cutover, onboarding and stabilization
• Lead and support Centers of Excellence and Steering Committees
• Provide executive and senior leadership reporting on portfolio health, financials, risks, dependencies, decisions and forward-looking priorities
• Own and maintain the Marc Jacobs technology portfolio and roadmap, balancing integration initiatives, operational priorities, resource constraints and business demand after transition into the G-III ecosystem

Education and/or Experience:

• Candidate should have strong knowledge of Apparel industry (Wholesale order-to-cash, Omni, Retail) business model with process best practices, in technology, development best practices, integration best practices, network and data security best practices
• Candidate must have proven experience implementing and managing concurrent projects in a complex, multi-brand, multi-platform and multi-region environment
• Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies, RAID logs, critical path planning, executive risk escalation and integrated master schedules across multiple workstreams
• Should be comfortable with being hands on in support of implemented technology solutions
• Must be familiar and able to define and build Integration and Process flow schemas (Visio or similar a plus)
• Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Proficient in Project Management tools (i.e. Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
• Experience in managing budgets (Capital projects)
• Experience reporting portfolio status, financials, risks, decisions and forward-looking plans to senior management and executive Steering Committees
• Experience using AI-enabled project management and productivity tools to improve planning, documentation, status reporting, meeting management and risk identification
• Project Management Certifications (i.e. PMP) a plus
• 10+ years of PMO, program or project management experience leading complex enterprise-level global deployments, including ERP, OMS, digital commerce or M&A integration programs
