Executive Finance Succession Opportunity

Are you an accomplished financial leader ready to move beyond traditional controllership and prepare for an executive finance role?

Korry Electronics is seeking a Controller to serve as a key member of our finance leadership team and a strategic partner to the business. This is a high-impact role intentionally designed as part of our finance succession and leadership-development strategy.

Our objective is to develop the successful candidate toward readiness for a Vice President of

Finance opportunity within approximately 2–3 years, either at Korry Electronics or another business within our parent company. Progression will be based on demonstrated performance, leadership readiness, organizational needs, and available opportunities.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will lead the accounting and controllership organization while partnering closely with senior functional and business leaders across the company. This role combines controllership, financial planning, operational finance, business partnership, process improvement, and team development.

What You Will Do

Financial Leadership & Controls

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial statements, reconciliations, reserves, accruals, and significant accounting estimates.
  • Establish and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance.
  • Lead internal and external audit activities and ensure appropriate controls over inventory, revenue, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and other significant accounts.

Financial Planning & Business Performance

  • Lead or play a significant role in the annual operating plan, forecasts, long-range planning, and strategic financial modeling.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational plans into financial forecasts, performance targets, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze actual results versus plan, forecast, and prior year and clearly identify the underlying business drivers.
  • Provide senior leadership with decision-oriented reporting and recommendations on revenue, margins, operating expenses, cash flow, working capital, and key business metrics.

Manufacturing & Operational Finance

  • Provide financial leadership for manufacturing operations, including standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead allocation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Analyze labor efficiency, material performance, purchase-price variance, overhead absorption, scrap, inventory, productivity, and other key cost drivers.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Commercial teams to improve profitability and operational performance.
  • Support productivity, sourcing, make-versus-buy, value engineering, and cost-reduction initiatives through disciplined financial analysis.
  • Improve visibility into customer, product, and program profitability.

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior functional and business leaders.
  • Translate complex financial and operational information into clear recommendations for decision-making.
  • Evaluate business cases, pricing actions, capital investments, productivity initiatives, and other significant business decisions.
  • Bring an independent financial perspective to strategic and operational discussions and constructively challenge assumptions when appropriate.

Cash Flow & Capital Management

  • Provide leadership around cash generation and working-capital performance, including accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable.
  • Support capital planning and prioritization, including financial evaluation of investments and post-investment performance.

Finance Transformation, Systems & Analytics

  • Lead continuous improvement within Finance by simplifying processes, strengthening data quality, and improving scalability.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to automate workflows and improve financial-system capabilities.
  • Advance the use of business intelligence, dashboards, data warehousing, and analytics to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
  • Drive improvements in forecasting, reporting, close, cost accounting, and financial analysis through technology and process redesign.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Establish clear expectations, accountability, succession plans, and professional-development priorities.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes across the organization.
  • Foster Korry's culture of ownership, transparency, process improvement, trust, and respect.

Executive Development

This role is intended to develop future senior finance leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to operate beyond traditional controllership, influence senior leaders through strong analysis and judgment, anticipate business risks and opportunities, lead organizational change, develop finance talent, and build the strategic and operational perspective expected of a future Vice President of Finance.

This version removes most of the duplication in the original posting, particularly where executive-readiness expectations repeated responsibilities already covered elsewhere. It also compresses the benefits section, which was consuming substantial character space without helping differentiate candidates at this level.

Korry Electronics is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, medical condition, national origin, marital status, disability, pregnancy or parental status, childbirth, genetic information, or military and veteran status.
