Founding Engineer - Applied AI

I’m building an early-stage AI startup focused on helping organizations work through complex situations—bringing together fragmented context, human expertise, and AI to make better decisions and carry them through to resolution.

I’m looking for a Founding Engineer to build it with me.

We have early market validation with upper mid-market companies and a credible path to becoming revenue-generating—and potentially revenue-positive—before raising our first institutional round. The opportunity is taking shape; the focus now is execution. The immediate goal is to build and ship a solid V1 with design partners, learn from real-world use, and turn what works into a scalable product.I’m looking for someone with a strong software engineering and product-delivery foundation who is now deeply hands-on with modern AI—LLMs, agents, retrieval, context engineering, reasoning, and AI-native application patterns.

You should enjoy going from an ambiguous customer problem to a working product rather than waiting for a detailed specification.

Ideally, you’ve built and shipped production software end-to-end, are strong in application/backend architecture and integrations, have meaningful hands-on applied-AI experience, and have the product instincts to work directly with early customers. Most importantly, you know when to build something robust and when to keep it simple.
