We are using AI to reimagine how stories are created, produced, and consumed building engaging mini-drama and short-form entertainment experiences for a global audience.

We are looking for a Content Growth Manager who can help us build a world-class content team and create stories that resonate strongly with audiences in the US market.

The Role

As a Content Growth Manager, you will lead and guide our content team in developing compelling mini-dramas and short-form stories designed primarily for the US audience.

You will bring a strong understanding of US content trends, visual storytelling, audience behavior, and what makes short-form entertainment work. You will work closely with writers, creatives, and production teams to shape content from idea to execution while continuously improving our content strategy.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable leading a team, developing creative direction, understanding audiences, and experimenting with new content formats.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor the content team, providing clear creative direction and feedback.
Develop content strategies focused on US audiences and viewing preferences.
Identify story formats, themes, characters, visual styles, and storytelling techniques that perform well in the US market.
Guide writers and creative teams from concept → script → visual development → final content.
Analyze content performance and audience feedback to continuously improve our storytelling.
Help establish a strong content pipeline and creative processes for producing mini-dramas at scale.
Stay closely connected to trends in US entertainment, short-form video, mini-dramas, social content, and digital storytelling.
Experiment with new storytelling formats and leverage AI-powered filmmaking tools to improve content creation.
Work closely with product, creative, and production teams to turn content insights into scalable formats.
Help Ethereal Labs break into and grow within the US entertainment market.

What We're Looking For

1–3 years of experience in content, entertainment, media, short-form video, digital storytelling, or a related field.
Experience working with or creating content specifically for the US market.
Strong understanding of US audience preferences, content trends, and storytelling conventions.
Excellent visual and storytelling instincts—you can quickly identify what makes a story engaging and shareable.
Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a small creative/content team.
Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, pacing, character development, hooks, and audience retention.
Someone who can balance creative intuition with data and audience insights.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Highly curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have

Experience at a US-focused media, entertainment, short-form content, or consumer internet company.
Experience with mini-dramas, short-form fiction, vertical video, social storytelling, or similar formats.
Experience working with AI tools for content creation, filmmaking, writing, editing, or visual production.
Existing understanding of the US creator, entertainment, or digital media ecosystem.
