ELECTRONIC ENGINEER

About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of the electronic architecture and control systems for an innovative commercial food machineary.
You will be the primary technical authority for all electronics, responsible for translating concept requirements into custom circuit schematics, board layouts, and fully functional physical prototypes.

What We Are Looking For:

Location: Must currently reside in Houston, Texas, USA. (Applications from outside the Houston area will not be considered.)
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. (We do not provide visa sponsorship, including H-1B or any other work authorization, and will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship.)
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded hardware development. (Candidates without proven professional experience in building custom circuit boards and working hardware will not be considered.)
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (early-career professionals and ambitious individuals are highly encouraged).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in EDA/schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
Hands-on: Proven ability to build, solder, test, and troubleshoot custom electronics, microcontrollers, and wiring harnesses in a lab or workshop environment.
Mindset: A "get-it-done" attitude—you want to see your circuits come to life on the bench.
Autonomy: Ability to collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary core team while taking full ownership of your electrical design decisions from schematic to final board.

Key Responsibilities:

Circuit Design & Schematics: Create custom electronic schematics from scratch, integrating microcontrollers, power management, relays, and sensors.
PCB Layout: Design, route, and optimize printed circuit boards (PCBs) ready for manufacturing and prototyping.
Hands-On Assembly & Soldering: Physically build, solder, test, and debug electronic boards, wiring, and hardware components in the lab.
Technical Authority: Serve as the primary technical lead for the electronics, wiring, and hardware control scope of the project.
Prototype Integration: Work closely with the mechanical,embedded and food engineering team to seamlessly integrate electronics into the physical chassis.
