About the Role
Bitcot is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to provide technical architecture, guidance, and oversight across multiple enterprise technology initiatives for a well-established U.S. healthcare organization.
This role is focused on designing scalable and secure cloud solutions, establishing reusable architecture patterns, and ensuring consistency across multiple projects. The architect will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, cloud teams, and third-party vendors to provide technical direction and help solve complex architectural challenges.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with strong experience across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), distributed systems, modern cloud technologies, and AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide solution architecture and technical oversight across multiple concurrent enterprise projects.
• Design scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective solutions across Azure and GCP.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, and reference solutions across projects.
• Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to internal engineering teams and third-party vendors.
• Identify opportunities to reuse existing platforms, services, and components while avoiding duplicate solutions.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, technical designs, and implementation approaches.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance through prototyping, proof-of-concepts, architecture reviews, and troubleshooting when required.
• Support teams in resolving complex technical and architectural issues.
• Guide the adoption of modern cloud, AI, and distributed-system technologies.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise cloud, security, architecture, and operational standards.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles, including significant solution or enterprise architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, and secure enterprise applications and platforms.
• Experience with modern cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, containers, or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, networking, governance, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Ability to operate at both the architecture/design level and hands-on engineering level.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, business, security, infrastructure, and third-party teams.
• Experience designing or supporting AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare or clinical technology environments.
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise or matrix organizations.
• Experience managing or providing technical oversight to third-party vendors.
• Experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or other enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM applications, RAG, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Experience with enterprise security, compliance, identity, and governance.
• Experience creating technical standards, reference architectures, and reusable solutions.

• You should be comfortable working across multiple projects, technologies, and stakeholder groups while maintaining a consistent and scalable architectural vision.
• Candidates must be currently based in the United States.
