About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong Kotlin skills to join our development team in Odisha. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing Android applications.

The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality Android applications, integrating APIs, fixing bugs, improving application performance, and working closely with backend, UI/UX, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable Android applications.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and modern Android development practices.
• Implement application architecture using MVVM / Clean Architecture.
• Work with Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
• Implement local data storage using Room / SQLite.
• Use Retrofit / OkHttp for API communication.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain source code using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Support application testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest Android and Kotlin technologies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Good knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle.
• Experience with Jetpack Components.
• Good understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Retrofit.
• Experience with Room Database / SQLite.
• Good knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Android UI development and responsive layouts.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Good to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Hilt / Dagger for dependency injection.
• Experience with Firebase, FCM, Crashlytics, and Analytics.
• Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is a plus.**
