* Compensation: Starting at $40 per hour (W2 Only, No C2C) plus benefits (Flexible depending on experience)

About the Role

As an AI Engineer, you will design and build intelligent, autonomous AI systems that push the boundaries of enterprise-scale agentic technology. You will lead the development of scalable, secure, cloud-native frameworks that allow AI agents to reason, plan, act, and collaborate in real-world production environments. Your work will directly enable enterprise customers to leverage powerful, resilient, and safely governed AI agents that drive measurable business value.

What You'll Do

* Design and build intelligent, autonomous AI systems that advance enterprise-scale agentic technology.

* Lead the development of scalable, secure, cloud-native frameworks enabling AI agents to reason, plan, act, and collaborate in production environments.

* Create foundational runtime components, automation capabilities, and infrastructure that power next-generation GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.

* Collaborate closely with AI researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to bring advanced agentic capabilities from concept to production.

* Enable enterprise customers to take advantage of powerful, resilient, and safely governed AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate:

* Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying autonomous AI agents at scale.

* Expertise in building agent-based architectures and runtime components for next-generation AI and LLM systems.

* Hands-on experience implementing governance, safety, and compliance in agentic AI environments.

* Ability to partner effectively with product leaders, architects, and platform teams to define enterprise-grade AI capabilities.

* Strong technical expertise in intelligent automation, generative AI, and agentic system design.

Requirements:

Education

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience & Technical Skills:

* 3+ years of experience in software architecture, backend development, or AI infrastructure.

* Strong Python skills with familiarity in Java, Go, and C++.

* Deep expertise in agent development, LLM integration, prompt engineering, runtime systems, and AI tooling.

* Experience with MCP servers, vector databases, RAG systems, graph-based memory, and NLP frameworks.

* Ability to design core agentic capabilities such as memory management, context handling, observability, and identity.

* Strong background in distributed systems, backend services, API design, and cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

* Proficiency with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable production infrastructure.
