Software Engineering Intern (Full Stack)

What we're building:

RepDesk is a Customer Lifetime Intelligence Platform for Indian B2C brands — clinics, coaching centres, hotels.
The insight: a bad review is a symptom, not the problem. The customer got frustrated days earlier and nobody knew. We ingest signals from everywhere a customer touches a business — reviews on Google, Practo, Justdial, Zomato, MouthShut, Sulekha; WhatsApp and voice conversations; support tickets; payment behaviour — fuse them into a Customer Risk Index, and alert the business 48–96 hours before the customer churns or goes public.

What you'll actually do

Ship features end-to-end: Postgres schema → FastAPI endpoint → Next.js UI
Build platform integrations — Google Business Profile, Meta Graph, X, Reddit, Play Store, Indian portals. OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, the messy real world
Work on the AI layer: prompt design, LLM review analysis and categorisation, AI response drafting in multiple Indian languages
Help build signal ingestion and scoring pipelines that feed PRSM
Own what you ship, including the bugs

Stack

Backend — Python 3.11, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic, Pydantic v2, PostgreSQL, APScheduler
Frontend — Next.js 15 App Router, TypeScript (strict), Tailwind, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query
AI — Open AI
Rest — Clerk auth, Docker, GitHub Actions, ruff + mypy strict + pytest

You won't know all of this on day one. Nobody does. You should be able to learn it fast.

Who we're looking for

Students, freshers, or self-taught developers — 0+ years
Comfortable in Python or TypeScript, genuinely curious about the other
Have shipped something end-to-end. A GitHub link beats a resume line
Self-motivated: can take a vague problem, ask the right questions, come back with something working
Care about doing it properly — types, tests, clean code — not just making it run
Nice to have: LLM API experience, open source contributions, third-party API integration work.
