About the job
Seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support capital and maintenance projects in an oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, refining, power generation, or heavy industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical projects from scope development through construction, commissioning, and startup.
- Develop/review SLDs, load lists, specifications, schematics, and electrical studies.
- Manage MOC activities and coordinate EPCs, vendors, operations, and contractors.
- Support transformers, switchgear, MCCs, large motors, VFDs, and protective relaying.
- Perform/review load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA 70E.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Industrial electrical project engineering experience.
- Strong HV/MV power systems, SEL relays, motors, grounding, and protection experience.
- Construction, commissioning, and startup experience.
- ETAP or equivalent power system analysis experience.
- Brownfield/operating facility experience preferred.
