Job description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade internal platforms, developer tooling, and automated cloud-native solutions. In this role, you will architect AI/LLM-powered systems and multi-agent workflows that interact seamlessly with external APIs, repositories, and enterprise platforms. You will enforce production-ready evaluation, guardrails, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) governance across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Architecture: Design and implement internal developer platforms, automation tools, and cloud-native solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
- Agentic AI Orchestration: Build production-grade multi-agent systems and AI workflows that interact with external tools, APIs, code repositories, and enterprise services.
- Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Provision, govern, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform (or CDK/CloudFormation), ensuring 100% code-driven deployment patterns.
- AI Governance & Observability: Implement evaluation metrics, guardrails, audit logging, and prompt/action traceability to ensure AI outputs are deterministic, secure, and production-ready.
- CI/CD & Developer Tooling: Integrate platform solutions into GitHub Actions and AWS CI/CD pipelines to streamline engineering workflows.
Top 5 Must-Haves (Required on Resume)
- Platform Engineering Experience: Proven track record building internal platforms, developer tooling, or cloud-native automation systems.
- Core Development Languages: Strong proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js and/or Python.
- Cloud & IaC: Hands-on AWS experience with Terraform (or AWS CDK) for Infrastructure as Code.
- AI / LLM Integration & Agentic Systems: Experience building systems that interact with external tools/APIs via agentic frameworks (Amazon Bedrock Agents/AgentCore, LangGraph, LangChain, Strands, or CrewAI).
- Location Restriction: Must be currently residing and working in Chicago/Midwest, New Jersey, or New York.
