  • Develop RF front-end architectures incorporating power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, mixers, frequency converters, synthesizers, PLLs, and antenna interfaces.
  • Define RF link budgets and establish system-level performance requirements.
  • Lead component selection, technology evaluations, and design tradeoff studies.
  • Develop RF solutions that balance performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Simulation & Analysis

  • Use RF design and simulation tools to evaluate and optimize circuit and system performance.
  • Perform RF analysis, including harmonic balance, S-parameter, electromagnetic, interference, and coexistence analysis.
  • Evaluate thermal considerations and their impact on RF performance and system reliability.
  • Analyze simulation results and translate findings into practical design improvements.

Hardware Development & Integration

  • Develop RF schematics and provide guidance to PCB layout engineers.
  • Review RF PCB layouts for signal integrity, controlled impedance, and overall design performance.
  • Support prototype development, board bring-up, troubleshooting, and design validation.
  • Develop and execute RF test strategies and validation plans.
  • Work collaboratively with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to support successful product development.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a recognized technical authority and subject matter expert in RF engineering.
  • Influence RF technology strategy, architecture decisions, and product roadmaps.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level RF engineers.
  • Review designs and provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and overall product quality.
  • Stay current with emerging RF technologies and industry developments and identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities into future products.

Required Qualifications
