Overview:
At Spectrum Killian, we’re redefining excellence in restorative dentistry through craftsmanship, innovation, and trusted partnerships. We’re seeking a driven, competitive, and relationship-oriented Inside Sales Representative, Open Implants to help expand our customer base and accelerate revenue growth.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities through proactive outbound outreach, qualifying prospective dental practices, reactivating dormant accounts, and converting opportunities into long-term Spectrum Killian customers. You’ll serve as an early point of contact for prospective clients, helping them understand Spectrum Killian’s capabilities, identifying their needs, and demonstrating how our products and services can support their practice.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, thrives in a goal-oriented environment, and is motivated by turning conversations into measurable business results.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, referrals, marketing-generated leads, and other outreach channels.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective dental practices and customers within assigned markets or territories.
- Engage dental professionals to understand their current laboratory relationships, business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Clearly communicate Spectrum Killian’s value proposition, capabilities, products, services, turnaround times, and customer experience.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and identify high-potential opportunities for conversion.
- Reactivate dormant and underutilized accounts through targeted outreach and relationship-building.
- Convert qualified prospects into new customers and drive initial case submissions and account activation.
- Build credibility and rapport with dentists, practice managers, office managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Consistently follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to maintain engagement and move opportunities forward.
- Partner closely with Account Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to create a seamless experience for new customers.
- Facilitate a smooth transition of established customers to the Account Management team for continued relationship development, retention, and growth.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of prospect activity, opportunities, follow-ups, and pipeline status within the CRM.
- Consistently meet or exceed established activity, pipeline, conversion, and revenue goals.
- Monitor individual sales performance and use data to identify opportunities to improve outreach, conversion, and overall effectiveness.
- Share market feedback, customer insights, competitive information, and recurring objections with leadership to help strengthen Spectrum Killian’s sales strategy.
- Represent Spectrum Killian professionally and deliver a high-touch, consultative experience throughout every stage of the sales process.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, account development, or another customer-facing sales role; dental, healthcare, medical device, or B2B experience is a plus, but not required.
- Proven ability to prospect, generate new opportunities, and convert leads into customers.
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling and proactive email outreach.
- Competitive and results-driven, with a strong desire to meet and exceed individual goals.
- Resilient and persistent; comfortable navigating rejection, objections, and longer sales cycles without losing momentum.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills; able to quickly build rapport and credibility with prospective customers.
- Polished verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally.
- Consultative approach to selling; asks thoughtful questions, listens closely, and connects customer needs to appropriate solutions.
- Hands-on, gritty, and scrappy problem solver who takes ownership and follows through.
- Proactive and self-motivated; doesn't wait for opportunities to come to them.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to recognize opportunities to drive revenue and expand customer relationships.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage a large pipeline, competing priorities, and consistent follow-up without losing attention to detail.
- Coachable and motivated by feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities and processes may evolve.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations.
- Data-curious and comfortable using sales metrics to evaluate performance and prioritize opportunities.
- Ability to learn dental terminology, products, services, and workflows quickly.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
