About the job
AI Full Stack Engineer
About the Role
We are a company focused on healthcare services, healthcare operations, and the practical application of technology and AI in healthcare.
We are looking for an AI Fullstack Engineer to help build software products that bring artificial intelligence into real healthcare and operational workflows.
You will help build end-to-end AI-enabled products involving complex information processing, document generation and review, structured outputs, workflow automation, internal operational tools, and systems that help healthcare professionals work more efficiently and accurately.
We are looking for someone who can independently solve problems, translate ambiguous business needs into practical software features, and work closely with product, operations, and healthcare professionals.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain end-to-end fullstack product features across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, databases, and business logic
Integrate AI / LLM capabilities into real workflows, including prompts, structured outputs, validation, error handling, and human-review workflows
Contribute to document processing, data workflows, internal tools, and workflow automation
Work closely with product, operations, and healthcare professionals to understand real business needs and continuously improve product quality, reliability, and usability
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Software development or fullstack development experience over 3 years
Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
Experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework
Experience working with APIs, backend services, databases, and basic system design
Familiarity with SQL / PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Proficiency in at least one backend or general-purpose programming language; Python experience is preferred
Experience building end-to-end product features rather than only isolated frontend components
Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent execution skills
Ability to work with complex or ambiguous real-world requirements
AI / LLM Experience
Experience with any of the following is preferred:
LLM API integration
Prompt engineering / prompt workflows
Structured outputs
JSON schema or similar output constraints
AI output parsing and validation
Tool calling
Error handling, retry, and fallback logic
AI-assisted workflows
AI output evaluation
We care more about whether you have applied AI to real products and workflows than whether you have only built a simple chatbot or demo.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required:
Supabase, Firebase, or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
SQL / PostgreSQL, serverless functions, or cloud backends
AWS or other cloud platforms
AI, machine learning, NLP, or data-processing workflows
Document processing, PDF / DOCX, rich text, or review workflows
Healthcare software, EHR / EMR systems, or healthcare operations
Internal tools, workflow software, or enterprise applications
Authentication, permissions, privacy, or security-related development
Experience working with distributed or cross-regional teams, including teams across the U.S. and China
Working Style
You should be comfortable moving between product thinking and technical implementation.
When requirements are incomplete or ambiguous, you should be able to understand the underlying problem, break it into technical components, and move development forward without waiting for a fully detailed specification.
You will work closely with product, operations, engineering, and healthcare professionals and improve the product based on real user feedback.
