Technical Partner / Founding Engineer

Existing SaaS Product | Revenue Share | Long-Term Opportunity
I’m looking for an experienced Senior SaaS Engineer / Technical Partner to help take an existing software platform from its current functioning stage to a secure, scalable, commercially ready SaaS business.
The platform is already built and functioning. This is NOT an idea that needs to be built from scratch.
The software was developed using Lovable and is designed specifically for the life insurance industry, helping agents better manage the financial and operational side of their business.
I bring the industry experience, business knowledge, target market, product vision, sales and marketing strategy.

What I'm Looking For
I need someone who can:
• Review and understand the existing application and codebase
• Conduct a thorough technical and security assessment
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Review authentication, authorization and user permissions
• Protect customer data and ensure proper account/data separation
• Review database and Row Level Security policies
• Secure APIs, integrations and webhooks
• Review payment/Stripe implementation
• Secure API keys, secrets and environment variables
• Establish strong GitHub/version-control practices
• Improve deployment, monitoring, logging and backups
• Improve performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues
• Help develop future features
• Prepare the platform to safely support a growing number of paying customers
• Coordinate with independent cybersecurity professionals when appropriate

Ideal Experience
Experience with:
React | TypeScript | Supabase | PostgreSQL | SaaS Architecture | Application Security | DevSecOps | Stripe | GitHub | APIs | Cloud Deployment | OWASP
Experience taking a Lovable, AI-generated, no-code or low-code application into a secure production environment is highly desirable.
Partnership Opportunity
This is not a traditional hourly freelance position.
I’m looking for someone who is interested in becoming a long-term technical partner and participating in the success of the product.
I’m open to negotiating a revenue-share/royalty arrangement based on proceeds generated by the software, with the structure depending on experience, responsibilities and long-term involvement.
As the business grows, the compensation structure can grow with it.
I want someone who sees the opportunity to help build the company—not simply complete a development project.

What I'm NOT Looking For
I am not looking for:
• Someone whose primary skill is prompting Lovable
• A development agency trying to sell a large rebuild
• Someone who automatically wants to rebuild the existing platform
• A junior developer learning SaaS architecture as they go
I need someone capable of looking underneath the application, understanding how it works, identifying what needs to be strengthened, and taking responsibility for its technical health.
