Nelson + Pope is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to work in the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Department in our Melville, New York office for an immediate start. The work includes design/drafting for HVAC, plumbing systems, electrical and fire protection for new building construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:

• support partners, project managers and senior technical staff
• preparation of permit, construction and bid documents
• proficient in AutoCad
• knowledge of Revit preferred
• site visits for field investigations and measurements
• shop drawing review
• detail oriented and commitment to producing high-quality work
• ability to work independently or in collaboration with a team
• proficient in Microsoft Office
• good communication, organizational & time management skills

Salary Range: $80K to $110K
