Role Overview
The FDE Intern will work at the intersection of AI, software engineering and customer deployment.
The role involves taking Finzo AI's AI models and workflow agents from prototype toward production deployment in enterprise environments running SAP, Oracle and ERPNext. The source specifically describes this role as supporting AI model training, deployment and integration, including document intelligence and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

AI Model Development
● Assist with evaluation and fine-tuning of AI/ML models.
● Work on document extraction and classification.
● Support AI workflows for finance documents.
● Assist with classification of documents and financial information.
● Analyse model outputs and identify errors.

Model Evaluation
● Build evaluation datasets.
● Run model evaluation experiments.
● Measure:

● Track model performance across different document types.
● Identify failure patterns.

AI Deployment
● Support deployment of AI models into enterprise environments.
● Work with:

Data & Training Pipelines
● Prepare and clean training data.
● Support training runs.
● Maintain evaluation datasets.

Enterprise Integration
● Assist with API integrations.
● Work on data mapping.
● Troubleshoot authentication issues.
● Debug environment-specific integration problems.
● Help connect AI services with enterprise systems.

Customer Deployment
● Support implementation teams during customer deployments.
● Understand customer-specific workflows.
● Assist with configuration and integration.
● Participate in technical discussions with customers under senior guidance.
● Document customer-specific deployment requirements.

Documentation
● Create deployment runbooks.
● Document integration patterns.
● Maintain troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills
● Strong Python fundamentals.
● Coursework/project experience with ML or LLM-based models.
● Basic understanding of APIs.
● Basic understanding of cloud/container deployment.
