Founding Backend Engineer — Fintech Infrastructure

Fynliq is building an AI-powered, location-based rewards platform that helps consumers get more value from everyday spending.

We’re looking for a Founding Backend Engineer to help build the infrastructure behind our mobile product and turn our working prototype into a scalable beta.

You’ll help build:

• Backend APIs and services using Node.js/TypeScript
• PostgreSQL database architecture
• User authentication and account systems
• Merchant, offer, and campaign infrastructure
• Geolocation and offer-delivery logic
• Transaction matching and rewards processing
• Points and revenue ledgers
• Webhooks and third-party API integrations
• Plaid/Kard-style fintech integrations
• Analytics and event tracking
• Secure, scalable infrastructure for future growth

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of backend architecture, move quickly, communicate clearly, and make practical engineering decisions in an early-stage startup.

You’ll work closely with the founder, COO, mobile engineers, and other early team members to shape Fynliq’s technical foundation from the ground up.

Compensation: Fynliq is currently pre-revenue. This is an equity-first opportunity with no cash compensation at this stage. Equity depends on experience, contribution, and commitment and will be subject to formal agreements and vesting.
