Job Description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Develop and maintain architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, to handle the collection, storage, and retrieval of large datasets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, pipeline design, and data aggregation and transformation. - Implement data privacy and security measures to ensure adherence to compliance standards and protection of sensitive information. - Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to present data insights to end-users effectively. - Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify data-related issues and ensure data quality and integrity. - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data solutions to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems.
Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database systems.
Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing principles.
Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools. ( 5 to 8 years)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
