About the role

We’re looking for a Backend / Full-Stack Engineer to join our early-stage engineering team. Your main focus will be backend development, APIs, databases and integrations, while also contributing to frontend features when required.
You’ll work closely with the founding team and have significant ownership over the products and systems you build.

What you’ll work on

1. Build and maintain backend services and APIs
2. Design and work with databases and data models
3. Build integrations with CRMs, calendars, booking systems and other business platforms
4. Work with AI/LLM APIs and agent workflows
5. Build webhooks, background jobs and automation
6. Implement authentication, authorization and permissions
7. Contribute to frontend features when required
8. Debug and resolve production issues
9. Improve performance, reliability and maintainability
10. Turn recurring customer requirements into reusable product features

What we’re looking for

• Strong backend development fundamentals
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Comfortable integrating third-party APIs
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git/GitHub
• Ability to learn new technologies independently
• Comfortable using modern AI development tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving early-stage startup

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini
• Experience with AI agents, tool calling, RAG or embeddings
• Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure or CI/CD
• Experience building SaaS products
• Personal projects or a strong GitHub profile

We care more about what you can build, how you solve problems and how quickly you learn than your degree or exact number of years of experience.

Compensation: ₹30,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
