C++ Application Developer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join an established development team building specialized, secure technology supporting government and defense applications.

This position focuses on application-level C++ development using the Qt framework. This is not an embedded or firmware role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application-level software using C++ and Qt
• Build and enhance graphical user interfaces and application functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues
• Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and integration
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, maintainable software

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on C++ application development experience
• Professional experience with the Qt framework
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
• Experience with multithreaded applications
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• U.S. citizenship required
• No active security clearance required

Preferred

• Linux/Unix development experience
• TCP/IP, networking, telecommunications, or secure communications experience
• Experience with Boost or other C++ libraries
• Defense, aerospace, or government contracting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
