About the job
Role: Data Engineer - Databricks
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area
Duration: Long-Term (W2)
USC (Does not require Sponsorship)
Experienced data engineers to join a large-scale Databricks platform build supporting federal government programs in the Washington, DC area. Our client is one of the world’s largest technology and consulting firms.
This is not a bootcamp and it is not unpaid. You join as a full-time W-2 employee with full benefits on day one. We invest in ten weeks of full-time Databricks specialization at our cost, cover your certification exams, and then deploy you to the client engagement.
How the role works
- Weeks 1-10: full-time paid Databricks training, delivered remotely. You are a paid, full-time Revature employee with full benefits throughout. No cost to you and no repayment obligation.
- You earn the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate and Professional certifications during the program. Revature covers the exam costs.
- On completion you deploy on-site with the client in the DC metro area. You remain a full-time Revature employee, working as part of the client team.
- This is a long-term client engagement. Over time there may be an opportunity for the client to hire you directly. That is a possible long-term outcome, not a guaranteed or near-term one.
- Training is expected to begin in late September 2026, with deployment around December 2026.
What we offer
- Competitive pay from day one of training. Compensation is discussed early in the process.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off and paid holidays
All Databricks training and certification costs covered
