Test Engineer (Full Stack / SDET)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of full-stack web applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to design and execute test plans, automate test cases, validate APIs, and ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing 

• Designandexecute test cases based on business requirements. 
• Performmanual testing of web and mobile applications. 
• Verifynew features before release.

API Testing 

• TestRESTAPIs using tools like Postman or Swagger. 
• Validate request/response data, status codes, and error handling. 
• Verify authentication mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.

UI Testing 

• Testresponsive user interfaces across browsers and devices. 
• Validate forms, navigation, and user workflows. 
• Checkusability and accessibility.

Regression Testing 

• Executeregression test suites after code changes. 
• Ensureexisting functionality remains unaffected.

Integration Testing 

• Verify communication between frontend, backend, databases, and third-party services.

Bug Reporting 

• Identify, reproduce, and document defects. 
• Trackbugs using Jira or similar tools. 
• Verify bug fixes before closing issues.

Automation Testing

• Developand maintain automated test scripts. 
• Executeautomated test suites in CI/CD pipelines.

Database Testing 

• Validate data integrity using SQL queries. 
• VerifyCRUDoperations and database consistency.

Performance Testing 

• MeasureAPIresponse times. 
• Identify performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives). 
• Workclosely with developers and product owners to improve software quality.
