Now, we're looking for a Senior Data Scientist, Credit Risk to help shape what that future looks like — with data, with insight, and with purpose.

What You'll Do

This isn't just a modeling role. It's an opportunity to own the credit risk analytics agenda for our Line of Credit (LOC) portfolio — end to end. From acquisition scoring and line management to loss forecasting and portfolio performance, your work will directly influence how we serve our customers and grow our business responsibly.

You'll partner with Finance, Product, Digital Operations, Collections, and Compliance — and you'll present your findings to senior leadership. You'll mentor junior team members. And you'll do it all in a place where your contributions truly matter.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Building, validating, and deploying machine learning and statistical models across the LOC customer lifecycle
• Designing champion/challenger tests to optimize line assignment, offer terms, and credit policy
• Producing and defending loss forecasts using vintage analysis, roll rates, and survival modeling techniques
• Translating complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations
• Supporting model risk management, internal validation, and regulatory review
• Mentoring and developing junior data scientists and analysts

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field — advanced degree strongly preferred
• 3–5+ years of credit risk analytics or modeling experience in consumer lending
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production credit risk models (Python preferred — Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM, SHAP)
• Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets
• Solid understanding of credit fundamentals: PD, EAD, LGD, roll rates, and vintage analysis
• Familiarity with ECOA, Reg B, FCRA, fair lending, UDAAP, and SR 11-7
• Experience with revolving or line-based products (LOC, credit cards) is strongly preferred
• Non-prime or subprime lending experience is a significant advantage
• The ability to communicate technical findings clearly to executive audiences
