About the job

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large enterprise client in North America. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms, with a strong focus on CMS/DXP architecture and Sitecore.

This role will play a key technical leadership function across complex CMS re-platforming and migration initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, technology vendors, and distributed delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture for large-scale enterprise CMS/DXP implementations, re-platforming, and migration programs.
  • Define scalable, secure, and sustainable architecture across global, multi-country, and multi-language web ecosystems.
  • Provide technical leadership across complex integrations involving CRM, DAM, identity and access management, analytics, CDN, marketing automation, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, and technical governance.
  • Collaborate with multiple system integrators (SIs), technology vendors, offshore, and nearshore delivery teams.
  • Review technical designs and ensure delivery partners remain aligned with architectural standards and commitments.
  • Represent architecture at executive steering committees, governance forums, and cross-functional stakeholder meetings.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented documentation and recommendations.
  • Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and technical gaps and drive appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Support content authoring governance, workflow design, and automation for large and distributed marketing organizations.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, with at least 4 years focused on enterprise CMS/DXP platforms.
  • Strong Sitecore experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale CMS re-platforming, modernization, or migration programs involving multiple SIs and technology vendors.
  • Experience supporting global enterprise web environments, including multi-country and multi-language deployments.
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise integration landscapes, including CRM, DAM, identity, analytics, CDN, and marketing platforms.
  • Experience working within matrixed, multi-stakeholder organizations with established governance and architecture processes.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Sitecore certifications such as XM Cloud, Content Hub, or equivalent are strongly preferred.

Leadership & Communication

  • Ability to act as the technical voice and architecture leader in executive steering committees and cross-functional governance forums.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex architecture concepts into clear, business-readable documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing offshore and nearshore SI partners.
  • Ability to establish accountability for architecture standards, technical quality, timelines, and delivery commitments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct hands-on experience with Sitecore AI / XM Cloud in a production environment.
  • Experience with Sprinklr migration, implementation, or replacement programs.
  • Familiarity with digital ecosystems within commercial real estate, financial services, or professional services.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) or similar marketing automation platforms with enterprise CMS/DXP environments.
  • Experience designing content authoring governance models, workflows, and automation for large, distributed marketing teams.
