We are seeking a Product Designer to bring dedicated design expertise to the team and help shape the future of the customer experience. In this role, you’ll establish design best practices, introduce the a new Design System, evaluate and improve the existing product experience, and contribute to key roadmap initiatives.
You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders—and engage directly with customers—to turn insights into thoughtful, validated solutions. As the first dedicated design support for this space, you’ll have a unique opportunity to influence how design works while independently delivering meaningful product improvements.
What you'll do:
- Introduce and apply the new Design System to exiting and future experiences, helping drive consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise design standards
- Conduct a heuristic evaluation of the current experience, identifying usability issues, opportunities for improvement, and recommendations for future enhancements
- Support the product roadmap by designing new features and enhancements across the customer journey
- Plan and execute customer research and usability testing activities to validate concepts, designs, and product decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Partner closely with product to define requirements and prioritize opportunities based on customer needs and business goals
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended
- Participate in design reviews and present recommendations to stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- Product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing customer-facing digital products and applications
- Experience conducting heuristic evaluations, usability testing, and customer research (ideal)
- Strong UX and interaction design skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Proficiency in Figma, including design systems, component libraries, and prototyping
- Ability to work independently and drive projects from discovery through delivery
- Banking or financial services experience preferred; experience in other regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, insurance) also welcome
