Meca Enterprises is a specialized engineering firm based in Broken Arrow, OK with 25+ years serving industrial clients worldwide. Our work centers on structural analysis and design for process equipment—primarily air-cooled heat exchangers, steel stacks, and flare systems plus proprietary software tools and field solutions for stack vibration problems.
We’re a small, technically deep team—low bureaucracy, few meetings, clear expectations. Engineers own their work end-to-end and build direct client relationships.
We’re hiring to add technical capacity as the business grows. You will work on the team with other engineers to provide structural analysis for equipment and structures. You will generate calculation reports, answer questions from the .

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Equipment breakdown (typical):
• Air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHEs): ~60% of workload
• Steel stacks and flares: ~25%
• Custom/specialty requests: ~15%
Day-to-day responsibilities:
• Structural analysis and design reports for ACHEs, stacks, piping supports, and related components
• Direct client communication—email, phone, and very seldom on-site
• Code research and application (AISC, ASME, API, IBC, international codes)
• Coordination with Meca’s software team to resolve engineering questions

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT 12 MONTHS
• Independently evaluating and executing most engineering projects
• Proficient on ACHEs and standard stacks with minimal review required
• Trusted to communicate directly with clients and manage revisions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering (ABET preferred)
• 1 to 3 years of structural engineering experience
• Strong working knowledge of steel structural design and applicable codes
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
• Authorized to work in the US (no H-1B, OPT or TN Visa)

• STAAD.Pro proficiency
• PRG Paulin or similar pipe stress/nozzle software
• Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling experience
• IDEA Statica Finite Element Analysis
