Vernay is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Griffin, Georgia.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with manufacturing, engineering, customers, and production teams to improve product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Serve as a key quality contact for customers and manage customer complaints
• Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support APQP and PPAP activities for new products and process changes
• Apply SPC, Cpk, Gage R&R, and other statistical tools to reduce process variation
• Conduct internal audits and support compliance with applicable quality standards
• Analyze quality metrics and drive improvements in quality, productivity, and cost

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• 2–3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action skills
• APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA experience
• Experience with rubber molding, LSR, plastics, or assembly processes is a plus
