About the Role

For our expanding European market, we are looking for an enthusiastic Product Owner (P4) to become the steering force for workforce compliance in the Logistics industry.

You will bridge customer and market needs by translating evolving business requirements into high-value technical execution. You will own the product backlog for a Scrum-based team, collaborating closely with Engineering, UI/UX Design, QA/Testing, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and local stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

• Backlog Ownership: Own and prioritize the Scrum team backlog, linking features directly to commercial goals and business value.
• Requirements & User Stories: Translate roadmap objectives into clear, actionable user stories for engineering squads.
• Agile Ceremonies: Organize and steer refinement sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Sprint Delivery: Champion operational needs within Agile teams and guide effective sprint execution and release readiness (documentation, internal comms).
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, attend customer boards, and lead product demonstrations.
• Impact Tracking: Monitor product metrics and customer adoption to ensure features optimize real-world driver and back-office workflows.

Experience & Qualifications

• Core Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master within a software or SaaS environment.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience or strong interest in Workforce Compliance, Pre-Payroll, Reporting processes, or Tachograph regulations in logistics is highly beneficial.
• Agile Expertise: Proven mastery of Agile backlog management, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business field preferred.
• Languages: Fluent English and French (written and spoken) are mandatory. A good working knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Mobility & Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally within EMEA (up to 20%) and regularly to our office in Villeneuve, France.

Voor onze groeiende Europese markt zoeken wij een enthousiaste Product Owner (EMEA) die de drijvende kracht wil worden achter workforce compliance in Transport & Logistiek.

Je vormt de brug tussen klant- en marktbehoeften, bedrijfsstrategie en technische uitvoering. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de product backlog van een Scrum-team en werkt nauw samen met Engineering, UI/UX Design, QA, Business Analysts en internationale stakeholders.

Belangrijkste taken

• Backlog Beheer: Beheren en prioriteren van de team-backlog, waarbij features rechtstreeks gekoppeld worden aan business value.
• User Stories: Vertalen van roadmap-items naar duidelijke, uitvoerbare user stories voor het ontwikkelframe.
• Agile Ceremonies: Plannen en leiden van refinement, sprint planning en retrospectives.
• Sprint Delivery: Begeleiden van teams naar effectieve implementaties, inclusief releasevoorbereiding, documentatie en interne communicatie.
• Stakeholder Management: Onderhouden van sterke relaties met stakeholders en het verzorgen van productdemonstraties.

Jouw vaardigheden en ervaring

• Ervaring: Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Product Owner, Scrum Master of Domeinexpert in een software- of SaaS-omgeving.
• Kennis: Ervaring met of affiniteit voor wet- en regelgeving, loonverwerking (pre-payroll) of tachograafregelgeving in de logistieke sector is een grote troef.
• Talenkennis: Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels en Frans is verplicht. Een goede werkennis van het Nederlands is een sterk pluspunt.
• Reisbereidheid: Bereidheid om af en toe binnen EMEA te reizen (tot 20%) en regelmatig naar onze vestiging in Villeneuve (Frankrijk).
• Opleiding: Relevant Bachelor- of Masterdiploma gewenst.
