Java Lead Architect

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Architect to support a high-impact enterprise initiative in NYC. This role will focus heavily on architecting and leading modern web applications with a strong emphasis on React front-end architecture, enterprise-scale Java services.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing scalable full-stack solutions, leading engineering teams, and working with ad-tech platforms such as Google Ads or similar digital advertising ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for enterprise-grade applications using Java and React
• Design scalable front-end frameworks and reusable UI component architectures
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps
• Drive integration efforts with advertising and marketing technology platforms (Google Ads, analytics, campaign systems, tracking tools, etc.)
• Architect RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions
• Establish best practices for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams
• Work closely with DevOps and cloud engineering teams on CI/CD and deployment strategies
• Participate in agile ceremonies and technical planning sessions

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• React.js
• REST APIs & Microservices
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience leading architecture initiatives for large-scale enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and scalable UI architecture
• Experience integrating with advertising or marketing platforms
