Information Security Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Manager, Information Security Systems Engineering, for a hybrid role involving leadership and technical expertise in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing and mentoring a team of 12+ ISSEs, overseeing workload, training, and career development.
• Interfacing with internal stakeholders to scope work, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Performing Control Account Management duties on EV programs, tracking project performance.
• Ensuring systems meet security standards per ICD 503, RMF, and NIST 800-53, and supporting cybersecurity accreditation processes.
• Collaborating with design engineers and software teams to incorporate cybersecurity requirements early in development.
• Developing security documentation such as SSPs, RARs, and Security Control Traceability Matrices for system authorization.
• Applying vulnerability scanning, analyzing system specifications, and supporting secure software development practices.
• Maintaining technical certifications and actively supporting continuous process improvements.

Qualifications Include

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in STEM with 7-9+ years of related experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards, RMF, and system security requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with INCOSE Systems Engineering processes, system specification analysis, and system accreditation, especially for aerospace systems.
• Ability to oversee work products across the systems engineering lifecycle and support system security on aircraft.
