Robotics Vision Software Engineer

Role: Software Development Engineer focused on building and deploying computer vision systems for robotics applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize software systems for perception, navigation, and planning using computer vision
• Lead scalable, high-performance computer vision pipelines including model integration and deployment
• Translate research into production-ready solutions ensuring safety and reliability
• Create metrics, evaluation frameworks, and testing infrastructure to assess system performance
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning and computer vision models into production systems

Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience; experience mentoring or leading teams
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language
• Experience in system design, architecture, and scaling
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, ML, or related field
• Preferred: experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), model deployment tools, real-time or embedded systems, and a proven track record in research publications or patents
