We are seeking an experienced Lead II – Software Testing professional with strong expertise in Workday Testing, Test Automation, and Automation Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies across Workday environments and modules while ensuring adherence to testing standards, quality processes, and project timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing
- 3+ years of experience in Workday Testing
- 1+ year of experience working with Workday Sandbox environments
- 2+ years of experience in Automation Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Workday automation tools
- Strong understanding of Workday tenants, including Sandbox and Preview
- Experience with Workday navigation, worklets, and basic business processes
Good to Have
- 2+ years of Payroll testing experience
- 2+ years of FINS (Financials) testing experience
Key Responsibilities
Workday Testing
- Create test strategies and plans and execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Workday modules.
- Work across modules such as HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and FINS.
- Validate business processes, security/domains, condition rules, calculated fields, and advanced/matrix reports.
- Test EIB and Core Connector inbound/outbound integrations, including data loads and transformations.
- Plan and execute Workday feature-release regression testing and maintain regression test suites.
- Identify business-critical end-to-end scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Test Planning & Management
- Prepare test estimates, schedules, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Analyze requirements and user stories, identify gaps, prioritize testing, and create workflow diagrams.
- Identify testing scope, risks, and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Create, review, and manage test scenarios, test cases/scripts, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).
- Track and report testing progress against established schedules.
- Coordinate test environment and test data provisioning.
