Senior Sitecore Developer/Consultant

Role: Senior Sitecore XP 10.4 / XM Cloud (AI SaaS) Consultant / Developer (Freelance role)
Location: Australia (Remote)
Experience Required: 8–12 Years (Strong Sitecore Background Mandatory)
Engagement Type: Part-Time / Contract / Consultant (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities
• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise solutions using Sitecore XP 10.4+
• Design and implement headless and composable architectures using XM Cloud
• Implement personalization, marketing automation, and AI-driven digital experiences
• Participate in client workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution discussions
• Drive migration strategies from traditional XP setups to XM Cloud (SaaS) architecture
• Implement Helix-based architecture and best practices
• Manage serialization using SCS / Unicorn / TDS
• Collaborate with frontend teams for Next.js / React implementations
• Integrate Sitecore with third-party systems via APIs and middleware
• Ensure performance tuning, security hardening, and scalability of implementations
• Support DevOps teams in CI/CD pipeline setup and Azure deployments

Skills/Experience Required:
Core Sitecore Experience
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Sitecore
• Strong experience in Sitecore XP 10.4 (Mandatory)
• Deep understanding of Sitecore architecture and content modeling
• Experience with SXA and personalization
• Marketing Automation and analytics exposure
• Strong understanding of Helix principles
• Serialization tools: SCS / Unicorn / TDS
SaaS / Headless / Modern DXP
• Hands-on experience with XM Cloud (SaaS model preferred)
• Experience in headless CMS implementations
• Knowledge of composable DXP architecture
• Experience with Sitecore AI capabilities (preferred)
Frontend & Integration
• Strong experience with Next.js / React
• Experience with Sitecore JSS
• Understanding of SSR/SSG concepts
• Experience integrating REST / GraphQL APIs
Cloud & DevOps
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure DevOps)
• CI/CD pipeline configuration
• Docker / Kubernetes exposure (Good to Have)
Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)
• Sitecore Certified Developer (Mandatory)
• Sitecore XP 10 Certification (Preferred)
• XM Cloud Certification (Preferred)
• Sitecore MVP (Highly Preferred)
