Platform Development Engineer-II

We are looking for a Senior Platform Development Engineer, whom we call Platform Development Engineer-II, to help evolve and scale our core engineering platforms. In this role, you’ll build robust, self-service platforms that empower developers to ship faster, operate confidently, and deliver value with minimal friction.

In this 12-month contract role as a Platform Development Engineer-II, you will play a critical role in codifying infrastructure, expanding self-service capabilities, and driving operational excellence across our platform ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who thrives on execution, automation, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement scalable self-service capabilities across our engineering platforms
• Improve developer experience by simplifying onboarding, deployment, and operational workflows
• Translate architectural designs into production-grade implementations
• Drive platform reliability, security, and performance improvements aligned with industry best practices
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, developers, and operations teams to ensure platform capabilities meet evolving business needs
• Participate in support rotation, including occasional after-hours response, to maintain platform stability
• Maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and platform adoption

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), engineering automation, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, containers, GitOps, and cloud-native applications.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, HCL, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Terraform, cloud identity (Entra ID), networking, and security.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and platform reliability/observability skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Annualized Compensation Range

$90,000.00 - $111,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
