Location: Vacaville, CA
Need someone with OT infrastructure and Ops Technology experience who understands how a manufacturing site operates. Possible end options include someone with IT and Network experience in a GMP environment.
The interview is a webinar with the Hiring Manager, followed by a technical one.
Works on-site 5 days/week for the first few weeks and then can move to a hybrid model.
Scope:
• Provide support and technical contribution for the Process Automation Systems Distributed Control System (DCS), Manufacturing Control System (MCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Building Automation System (BAS), and site manufacturing and Quality Control (QC) systems.
• Provide support to other business and information management-related infrastructure for manufacturing and QC operations.
• Provide support to senior system engineers in executing projects in support of the Automation and QC roadmap, focusing on Infrastructure, vendor software integrations, and custom applications used in manufacturing and QC operations.
Job Duties:
• Provide System Administration, Infrastructure design, and support for the MCS, DCS, and site QC systems.
• Provide support to routine user management activities for manufacturing and QC systems.
• Provide support for routine backup/restore/archival activities for production automation and site QC systems.
• Provide support for routine data retention, review audit trails, and patch manufacturing and QC systems.
• Assist Senior/Principal System Engineers in maintaining system availability and supporting infrastructure components, including firewalls and antivirus software.
• Work with project teams and outside groups, including manufacturing, engineering, process science, validation, and quality assurance personnel, to implement right-first-time solutions.
• Support the resolution of automation and QC system issues, including cause analysis, issue resolution, unplanned event assessments, CAPAs, and investigations.
• Assist with Infrastructure (Production and QC) testing, debugging, and startup activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide support for Cell Culture Plant 1 (CCP1), Cell Culture Plant 2 (CCP2), PLC and Site QC system and software issues, including on- call / after-hours support (as required).
• Support, resolve, and break-fix issues. • Support project lead and/or Senior automation personnel for development review and approval of requirements documents, scope definition documents, design documents and drawings.
• Provide support for ongoing manufacturing by evaluating discrepancies, taking authorized discrepancy additional actions, providing technical input for investigation and/or developing and implementing corrective action plans.
