  • Develop ad hoc queries and scripts supporting investigations, reporting, reconciliation, data correction, validation, issue resolution, and operational requests.
  • Maintain and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, batch jobs, and database interfaces.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data feeds involving Oracle databases, Apache NiFi, AWS endpoints, APIs, files, and connected applications.
  • Investigate failed or incomplete data flows and coordinate their resolution across database, integration, application, and infrastructure teams.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to identify discrepancies between source and target systems.
  • Support high-volume data processing, batch jobs, ETL workflows, data conversion, data migration, and data-reconciliation processes.
  • Tune SQL and PL/SQL workloads to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support application releases, database deployments, production incidents, and post-deployment validation.
  • Participate in database application design, data modeling, schema development, and database object management.
  • Partner with Oracle Database Administrators on database configuration, Oracle RAC, recovery, Data Guard, security, performance, and environment-related issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, deployment instructions, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience developing and supporting enterprise solutions using Oracle Database, including Oracle 10g through current versions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, dynamic SQL, collections, bulk processing, exception handling, and database APIs.
  • Extensive experience debugging and troubleshooting complex SQL and PL/SQL code in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Experience analyzing existing database code and business logic to identify defects, data issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience rewriting, refactoring, and optimizing existing scripts and developing operational and production-support scripts.
  • Experience creating ad hoc queries for data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Experience maintaining and supporting data feeds and system integrations involving Apache NiFi, AWS services and endpoints, APIs, file-based transfers, batch interfaces, and connected applications.
  • Experience diagnosing data-feed and integration failures across database objects, PL/SQL processes, NiFi flows, AWS endpoints, files, APIs, and dependent systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including execution-plan analysis, optimizer statistics, indexing, partitioning, query optimization, locking, concurrency, and wait-event analysis.
  • Experience using Oracle diagnostic and performance tools, including AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
  • Experience supporting high-volume data processing, batch jobs, ETL workflows, data conversion, data migration, and data-reconciliation processes.
