Who We're Looking For

Codeworks is seeking an experienced UX Designer to support a complex, data-rich enterprise healthcare operations product. This role will focus on transforming intricate workflows into intuitive user experiences, improving usability, and delivering thoughtful design solutions for clinical and operational users.

This is an excellent opportunity for a UX professional who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating user-centered experiences within enterprise software environments.

Overview

As a UX Designer, you will work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions. You'll play a key role in simplifying complex operational workflows, designing intuitive user experiences, and creating design artifacts that support successful product development.

The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise UX experience, healthcare workflow knowledge, and expertise with Figma and modern UX design practices.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Analysis

  • Translate complex hospital operations workflows into user-friendly design solutions.
  • Analyze user needs, challenges, and processes to improve usability and efficiency.

Design Simplification

  • Simplify screens containing high-volume or complex operational data.
  • Create intuitive interfaces that help users quickly understand and act on information.

UX Artifact Creation

  • Develop wireframes, flow diagrams, visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Create and maintain design assets that support product development and stakeholder alignment.
  • Utilize Figma to communicate design concepts and workflows.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to identify user pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather feedback and incorporate insights into the design process.

Design Communication

  • Clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, recommendations, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Present concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain documentation of design decisions, assumptions, revisions, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure designs remain aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience designing complex B2B or enterprise software applications.
  • Strong UX design portfolio demonstrating user-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience with workflow analysis and solving complex usability challenges.
  • Understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, or provider-facing systems.
  • Expertise with Figma, including wireframing, visual design, prototyping, and workflow mapping.
  • Strong ability to break down complex problems and create clear, effective design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing healthcare technology applications.
  • Experience working with operational dashboards, complex data visualizations, or data-intensive applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise healthcare environments and healthcare operations.
  • Background collaborating within Agile product development teams.
