About Cruitical
Cruitical is an AI-native hiring platform that lets companies see how a candidate actually works before the first interview, through deep candidate profiles and hands-on work trials in a lifelike sandbox. We're Founders Inc Canopy alums (Spring 2026 cohort) and partner with a growing set of venture-backed startups hiring for roles like this one.
About the role
Robotics Engineers make things work outside the simulator. You'd write the software that turns sensor data into motion, close the loop between perception and control, and chase the failures that only ever appear on real hardware.
What we usually look for:
- Strong C++ and Python, with ROS or an equivalent stack you have actually shipped on
- Real hardware time; you've calibrated sensors, hunted timing bugs, and watched a robot fail in ways the sim never predicted
- Depth in at least one of perception, controls, motion planning or state estimation, with working knowledge of the neighbours
- Comfort with the maths, from transforms and kinematics through to probabilistic estimation
- Patience for a long debug loop, and the discipline to instrument before guessing
Why apply here
Apply once, and we match you to the right-fit startups in our network. You get evaluated on what you can do, you get real feedback either way, and warm intros to founders when there's a fit. No resume black holes, no reapplying to ten companies one at a time, no repetitive take-homes, no ghosting.
