QA Automation Lead

About the Role
We are looking for a Founding QA Automation Lead to take ownership of quality across the MIRA plaform and help build our QA function from the ground up. This is not a traditional test-execution role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about quality, work hands-on across the product, and build an automation-first QA foundation that scales with the company. You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to define test strategy, improve release confidence, build automation frameworks, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire SDLC. You will play a key role in shaping how we ship reliable, production-grade software as we grow. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, wants to build rather than inherit, and wants to be part of a core early team.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end quality for the MIRA platform across product workflows, integrations, APIs, and user journeys
• Build and scale test automation frameworks for UI, API, regression, smoke, integration, and release validation
• Introduce QA automation across all possible stages of the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline Define QA processes, standards, coverage strategy, and release-readiness practices
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to identify quality risks early and improve testability during development
• Create clear test plans, test cases, automation suites, bug reports, and quality dashboards Validate complex business workflows, logic-heavy scenarios, and third-party integrations
• Support feature releases through structured regression, smoke testing, and production validation
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality, release confidence, defect prevention, and automation maturity
• Help build a quality-first engineering culture inside a fast-moving startup environment
