About the job
About Yuzu
At Yuzu, we’re building the next-generation health insurance company. We are NOT building a digital brokerage or an AI wrapper - we are going deeper to build the foundational infrastructure required to power tomorrow’s health plans. We believe that software can unlock the ability to build health plans that are affordable, adaptable, and scalable. Yuzu’s platform will be core to this future.
So how does this actually work? Over 70% of employer-sponsored health plans are self-funded, meaning the employer acts as the insurer and directly covers employees' healthcare costs. This allows companies to customize benefits, gain flexibility, and save money. Self-funded employers partner with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to handle the behind-the-scenes plan administration, like processing claims and managing benefits.
The TPA industry is a $500bn sleeper industry that has historically been seen as a services business, bogged down by manual processes and legacy systems.
Yuzu is different. We are a vertically integrated & tech-enabled TPA, currently servicing thousands of companies. We differentiate by helping innovative health plans come to life by facilitating new ways to pay for and access healthcare covered by insurance. Yuzu’s goal is to make it as easy for any business to create and manage a custom health plan as it is to create a storefront on Shopify.
The Opportunity
As our first Revenue Operations hire, you will build and run the backbone of our go-to-market engine. You will own our CRM/comp-tooling architecture, our reporting and dashboards, our forecasting and planning cadence, and the end-to-end administration of commissions. You'll work hand in hand with Sales, Finance, and company leadership, and because you're standing the function up from the ground floor, you will have real room to grow your scope and depth as it scales.
This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to act like an owner. If that excites you, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Own Yuzu’s Attio architecture end to end, from structure to data integrity / CRM hygeine. You will maintain CRM standards as the team scales
- Build reporting cadences and dashboards that will be our team’s source of truth for forecast accuracy and pipeline health
- Surface and synthesize important takeaways from our CRM for company leadership
- Own commission administration end to end: translate comp plan documents into calculation logic, ensure monthly/quarterly payout cycles have an audit trail and occur seamlessly, and become the go-to person reps trust to get a fast answer on “why was I paid this”
- Manage account allocation across reps and the reflection of this allocation in our CRM
The Skillset
- 3-8 years in revenue operations, sales compensation/commissions, or business operations, ideally in B2B SaaS, insurance, or another commission-driven sales org
- Direct, hands-on experience administering sales commissions - you've owned a payout cycle, built or maintained comp calculation logic, and resolved rep disputes yourself
- Strong, hands-on CRM experience (Attio, or similar) - you've architected and fixed it yourself (objects, properties, workflows, reporting, hygiene)
- Deep comfort in data - Excel/Sheets is table stakes
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over accuracy
